In short:
ak-designpicks the right workflow for each kind of visual deliverable: logo, brand identity, poster, banner, social image, icon. It shows you its assumptions and brief for approval first, works in rounds, then scores the final piece itself. It does not write UI code, that is whatak-frontend-designis for; for a real brand with no logo, it stops and asks you instead of drawing one.

Summary
Use it when you need a visual deliverable: a logo for a new brand, a brand identity set, a poster series, social images at the right size, or a score for an existing design before you send it. You do not need it to build UI in code, like React or Tailwind components: that is what ak-frontend-design or the UI skill you have installed is for.

B --> D["Stop: real brand logo missing"]
E["UI code"] --> F["ak-frontend-design"]Four concepts to know:
| Concept | Question | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Deliverable type | What do you need to make? | Logo, brand identity, slides, banner, poster, social image, icon |
| Real brand or made-up | Does this brand already have real assets? | Designing for a client with an existing logo: collect the logo, product photos and UI screenshots first, write them into brand-spec.md, and every design reuses that |
| Work in rounds | When do you get to see it and change direction? | Round 1 assumptions and brief, round 2 real draft with variants, round 3 refinement, round 4 checks then delivery |
| Self-score before delivery | Is this piece good enough? | An idea scored 5/10 caps the total at 6.0, however nice the execution |
