In short:
ak-sumupgathers the evidence at hand and writes a tight recap of work you just finished: what got done, what broke and how it was fixed, why that approach was chosen, how to use it, and what remains. The remaining work is yours to pick up with another skill. It only summarizes: it does not edit files, carry on with the work, or claim anything was deployed.

Summary
Use it when you just finished a piece of work, the chat runs to a hundred messages, and you do not want to reread it from the top. You do not need it before doing anything: with no diff, tests or decisions yet, the recap comes out nearly empty.
flowchart LR
A["Work just finished"] --> B["ak-sumup"]
B --> C["Tight recap"]
C --> D["You pick the next step from what remains"]The recap rests on 4 principles:
| Principle | Question | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Verified or not | What was actually done with evidence, and what is only a proposal or still open? | "Added webhook retry, tests pass" sits apart from "Should add rate limiting, not done" |
| Keep only sections with content | Which sections does the recap have? | Up to 7 sections in order; work with no failures gets no failures section |
| Source is not what is running | Fixed in code, but is it live yet? | A merged diff with no evidence from a build is recorded as a source change |
| Visuals when they help | When does it add a table or diagram? | A new sign-in flow gets Mermaid; a one-line config change gets no visual |
The most important caveat: the recap does not replace checking the real environment. To know whether something was released, check the build or the running environment directly.

Summarize the PDF invoice export feature just built for <app name>:
what changed, how to use it, what is still missing.This skill has no flags. When you call it, you can point it at a task, a PR, a branch, or recent work (recent). The recap is written in the language you are using, and unresolved work always goes at the end.
Below is the detailed version: the run flow, 5 real situations with prompts, the change history by ak release, and common pitfalls. The detailed version and the interactive page are for subscribers. Your agent can also search them through the portal's MCP.
