In short:
ak-content-hubopens a gallery that runs right on your machine. It shows the files in the project'sassets/folder as a thumbnail grid, with a sidebar summarizing the brand's colors and voice. You filter by type, search by name, preview, copy paths, and edit text files right in the browser. Everything runs locally, and nothing is uploaded to the cloud.
Disclosure: I maintain AgentKit and have an affiliate relationship with it: the AgentKit link in this post is an affiliate link; buying through it gets you 30% off.
Summary
Use it when the project has many banners, posts and logos in assets/ and you want to see them all in one place, or quickly edit a copy file without opening a separate editor.

B["docs/brand-guidelines.md"] --> C
C --> D["Gallery on localhost"]
D --> E["Filter, search, preview, edit text files"]
C --> F["Shut the gallery down when done"]Four concepts to know:
| Concept | Question | Example |
|---|---|---|
| The assets/ folder | Where does the gallery get files from, and how are they categorized? | assets/banners/spring-sale/hero.png shows up as type banner with the tags spring, sale, hero |
| Local manifest | Where are scan results stored? | The first scan creates .assets/manifest.json, with each file marked local |
| Brand context | Where does the brand sidebar get its data? | The "Primary Colors" section in docs/brand-guidelines.md has #3A5F8C, so that swatch shows in the sidebar, and clicking it copies the color code |
| Server lifecycle | Does opening it repeatedly spawn many servers? | If the project's gallery is already running on port 3457, the next call reuses that port |
The skill handles four intents: open, rescan, reuse a running gallery, shut down. When shutting down, it only stops servers this task opened.
Sample prompt for opening the library the first time:
/ak-content-hub open
The <project name> project has banners, posts and logos in assets/.
Open the gallery so I can see every asset with the brand colors.This skill has no flags.

1. Call the content_get tool of the modernengineer MCP server with locale "en", slug "ak-content-hub". If the modernengineer MCP server is not connected, stop and walk me through connecting it from https://modernengineer.dev/en/mcp.
2. Summarize the main steps of the piece and point out which apply to this repo.
3. Propose concrete changes and ask me before editing any file.Connect MCP in Claude Code (once)
claude mcp add --transport http modernengineer \
