In short:
ak-analyticsfirst settles the source and time frame, defines each metric, keeps missing cells as unknown rather than 0, then compares equivalent periods. The result is a report with charts, a prioritized recommendations table and next steps with owners. It does not treat revenue credited to a channel as proof that the channel caused it.

Summary
Use it when you have campaign data, website traffic or A/B test results and need to know what they really say. For GA4, the machine needs the two GA packages and a credential file in .claude/secrets/.

A["Data: GA4, ad platforms, CRM, email"] --> B["ak-analytics"]
B --> C["Report: defined metrics, charts, recommendations"]
C --> D["You and the team follow the next-steps table"]
B --> E["Inconclusive A/B test: keep running"]Four concepts to know:
| Concept | Question | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Metric definition | Where does this number come from, and what is it divided by? | ROAS = revenue / ad spend, a 7-day post-click attribution window, internal orders excluded, double orders deduplicated |
| Missing means unknown | What goes in a cell with no data? | The email channel has no cost figure, so email ROAS is "unknown", not 0 |
| Equivalent periods | What is a fair comparison? | This week against last week with the same number of days, time zone and currency; not a sale week against a normal week |
| Attribution is not causation | Is the channel credited with revenue really the one that produced it? | Last click gives 100% credit to the final touch, so paid search looks very strong, even though customers may have found you through social media |
The input is the metric or report type you need, typed right after the skill name, for example /ak-analytics ROAS by channel or /ak-analytics monthly report.
Sample prompt for a campaign review:

Data: <ad platform export file> and <CRM order file>.
Date range: 07/01 to 09/30, time zone <time zone>, currency <currency>.
Goals: 4x ROAS, CPL under <amount>.
Need: ROAS, CPL, CVR by channel, compared with Q2.This skill has no flags.
