In short:
ak-competitortakes a subcommand with a competitor's URL or name, researches the web, compares, then writes a report or a draft comparison page. Every pricing and feature claim carries a source, a date and a confidence level. It does not make up weaknesses for competitors.

Summary
Use it when you need to know how a competitor positions itself and where it is strong or weak, or when you need an "alternative to X" or "A vs B" page.

D --> F["ak-seo, ak-copywriting for extra polish"]Four concepts to know:
| Concept | Question | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Subcommand | What do you need this time? | analyze for a full analysis, content for content gaps, seo to compare SEO, alternatives to write a comparison page, list to see tracked competitors |
| Evidence for every claim | Where does this number come from, when, for which market and plan, and how reliable is it? | "Team plan 15 USD/user/month. Source: the competitor's pricing page, fetched 2026-10-21, US market, high confidence." |
| Four comparison page formats | Which stage is the reader at when searching for this page? | "Alternative to X" for people leaving X; "X alternatives" for people just exploring; "Your product vs X"; "X vs Y" with you as the third option |
| Shared competitor profile | When a competitor changes prices, where do you fix it so every page is right? | competitor_data/doi-thu-a.yaml with positioning, pricing model, features scored 1-5, strengths, weaknesses, who it fits |
A comparison page still says where the competitor is good and who should use it, because honesty makes readers trust the page more.
